Diplomats Society is delighted to inform you of the International Green Week 2020 - the world's largest exhibition for the food, agricultural, and horticultural industries. This year's International Green Week will take place in Berlin from 17 - 26 January 2020. The world-renowned consumer fair on food, agriculture and gardening welcomes approximately 400.000 visitors every year, and has showcased new developments and innovation since its foundation in 1926.

 

The 85th International Green Week will take place from 17th to 26th January.

The International Green Week Berlin presents trends in food, gardening and agriculture from a global perspective. Producers from around the world use the fair as a sales and testing market as well as for strengthening their image. Part of the presentations are products like fruits, vegetables, fish, meat and dairy products. A complete wine, beer, and spirits offer combined with international culinary specialties leave no wish unfulfilled. Modern services to farmers (like holiday and shopping in the countryside), and information on renewable energy and renewable resources are also available. Representatives and experts from all areas of agriculture and forestry, horticulture and fishery from home and abroad are expected.

On the wohle, the International Green Week welcomes on the 10 days of the fair, about 1.800 exhibitors from 61 countries and numerous visitors from about 75 countries in Berlin.

This year, Croatia will be the partner country of the International Green Week Berlin. Croatia presents itself in Berlin with the best it has to offer - large and small manufacturers, protected and domestic products.

 

The International Green Week is not only a fair for trade professionals, food producers and marketers. During the 10 days of the exhibition, the presentations of new products, food tastings and displays of live animals like cows and sheep draw more than 400.000 visitors each year. Among the visitors are gourmets, pupils, students and families who want to learn more about the latest food trends and where the food comes from.

Furthermore, the International Green Week also features commercial and non-commercial agricultural, forestry, and landscaping exhibits. With themes like renewable resources, scientific breeding of livestock, and production methods. These elements are of particular interest to trade visitors from the developing markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
